        "Nephrology is one of the leading department in NIMS Medicity. The department was started two years back. Now the department is well established with 13 dialysis machines. 1500 dialysis are done per month. NIMS Medicity is the only hospital in Kerala providing Dialysis at the lowest rate of 700 INR, including all medicines. The ICU is adajacent to Dialysis Unit. The five bedded Nephro ICU is taken care by eminent and leading physicians in the field of Nephro science, Dr. Manju Thampi MD, DNB, DM (NEPHRO), DNB (NEPHRO) and Dr. Shiji Thomas, MBBS, DNB. "

                                            Two isolated Dyalisis Units were devoted for infected patients.
