We provide multi-prolonged services which aims at preventive, promotive, curative & rehabilitative aspects of care in the hospital. We offer nursing services, education and research activities are on par with the latest developments in the field of medical science. Our nursing staff practices excellent standards in the delivery of quality patient care to complex patients across diverse settings such as the inpatient, outpatient, and other specialties. Baccalaureate nursing majors get hands-on practice in specialized areas such as intensive care, operating room procedures, labor and delivery, and pediatrics as well as experience in critical care and community health.

NIMS College of Nursing is a wing of NIMS Educational and Research Foundation and is situated in the campus of NIMS Medicity, Trivandrum, Kerala, India. Our mission is to provide excellence in the education of men and women desiring to become registered professional nurses and for nurses desiring to advance their education at the undergraduate and graduate level. We have a specially designed building as per the Indian Nursing Council norms and the infrastructure is based on a world class standard. Our course curriculum is based on the guidelines prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council. NIMS College of Nursing has talented teaching staffs who maintain high academic standards aims at enhancing the knowledge, clinical expertise and professional development of students and being responsive to the health care needs of society.

          NIMS College of Nursing offers a skill oriented programme in General Nursing and Midwifery course for all prospective students who would like to make career in the field of nursing and other areas of the health sector. This course prepares students to deliver the quality nursing care, in a high technology environment. We provide faculty-student training programmes and also give opportunities to publish and to participate in ongoing research projects.

We also provide opportunities for learning using a variety of traditional and technology mediated strategies. Courses may be taught using televideo conferencing technology, interactive and real-time electronic communications via computer for lecture, small-group and seminar discussions and Internet tools that support lifelong intellectual and professional development.

       Recognizing the importance of collaboration and partnership, the department has formed an Advisory board consisting of alumni, students, friends, and colleagues from the community who work with faculty to chart the course of nursing programs into the new century.
