The NIMS Center of Excellence in Bariatric Surgery is one of the largest groups of Obesity & Metabolic surgery institutes in the country, with all its tertiary care centers performing varieties of weight loss surgeries including revisional surgeries with success rates comparable to international standards. The commitment of our consultants and allied specialists in the treatment of Morbid Obesity has led to the achievement of better outcomes and improved quality of life for hundreds of obese patients who visit us each year.
Bariatric patients’ needs are different from normal patients because of their excess weight and therefore they need wider cots, transport chairs and stronger toilet systems. Bearing this in mind, our hospital rooms have been redesigned to provide them all possible comfort during their stay with us. A state-of-the-art operating room with the latest integrated laparoscopic system and special instruments are used to aid in safe surgery.
